Aramid
Para- and meta-aramid fibers for heat resistance, reinforcement, protective applications, and engineered textile or felt forms.
Overview
A nonwoven welding-protection sheet made with oxidized PAN fiber (OPF), designed to protect workers and nearby equipment from welding sparks and spatter. Custom forms can be fabricated from worksite drawings.
Grade values are as published in the product catalog. Manufacturing tolerances are not stated.
ACM is developing recycling, reprocessing, and upcycling pathways for high-performance materials including OPF and aramid. The goal is not a generic green claim: it is to recover valuable material, control its form and quality, and return it to demanding applications where performance remains the deciding factor.
Product catalogs, material notes, specifications, process information, and company materials are organized as versioned resources. The same approved sources ground Ask ACM answers.
Founded in 2015 in Japan, ACM researches, develops, manufactures, and sells high-performance carbon and functional materials. The team combines materials science, industrial engineering, manufacturing, and business-development experience to move from raw material and process design to application-specific supply.
For product supply, custom dimensions, new material applications, samples, or technical discussion, send us the use case and requirements. We can start from a known grade or work backward from the application.
